We found out we are having a BOY!! We are so excited! We were a little shocked because everyone thought we were going to have a girl, especially Steven thought for sure it was a girl. We like to surprise everyone! We are just excited to finally become parents and want him to be strong and healthy! Although it is funny that this is my parents 10th grandchild and only one of them in a girl. Steven will be the first boy in his family to have a child so the Pace name lives on. I truly believe we need to raise outstanding boys to be missionaries!! Steven is thrilled to have his sports buddy and the first outfit we bought is a UNLV Rebel onsie!

So I haven't posted in so long. Still working on all our pictures from Virgina and Washington DC when we went to visit Crystal. I will get there, but here is what is going on with us right now. Steven applied to Physical Therapy school in December to 3 places. Unlv and Touro in Henderson and Rocky Mountain in Provo, now it is just the waiting game. We also are so excited to be EXPECTING!! I am due JULY 16th! Everything is looking good! We are now past the scary time and we have had 3 ultrasounds! We get to find out the gender on Febuary 26th! We will keep everyone posted!

We went to Utah in August! My sister Crystal who lives in Virgina came to visit with her family. We all went to the Aquarium and had so much fun!! The kids were so excited to see the baby sharks!

 

 

 

Spencer loved the penguins and Boston loved to to go up into the clear tube! The otters are in the corner the big brown spots.

                        I love that my husband is so good with kids. He loves the little babies!

                   I can't believe she is crawling at 6 months. She is now 8 months is still so adorable!

My sister Crystal had Ethan blessed while they were there. Ethan was born on May 23rd! He is a cute little guy and Spencer loves having a baby brother. It was so fun to have the whole family all together!

Newport Beach 2012!

As many of you know every year we go to Newport Beach with Steven's family. This year we had the beach house July 6th through the 13th. We were able to go the 6th through the 11th. As always we had a blast!! Here is all the pictures!

  I know it doesn't look like big waves, but they are in huge waves. It is just really hard to get a good picture at the perfect moment. We were all just standing watching the waves when a big one came all the way up to us and Steven had to save his niece Molly, It was a little scary. To even go into the water at the wedge you have to wear flippers and there is always a lifeguard there.

Sorry this is a really late post. I have been working on it for a while time just flies. I guess it is more for me to have these posts and pictures.
 It has been a hard year, but we are trying to stay positive and remember that Heavenly Father has a plan for us. We do really appreciate all the thoughts and prayers from everyone and thankful for the support our family and friends have given us through this hard trial.

In March we got to go home for my new and only niece McKenna Nichol Lloyd's blessing. She was born January 17th and is so adorable. I can't believe she is already going to be 6 months old.

 Then a few weeks after that we went to Utah again for my Grandma Miller's funeral. It was bitter sweet we got to see my sister Crystal from Virgina and family that we haven't seen for a long time. My Grandma passed away in her sleep on Monday March 12th she would have been 86 on the 19th. She moved in with my family when i was about 13 and my mom took care of her until she died. She was an amazing women full of so much love. We will really miss her, but know she is in a better place and not suffering anymore. I am grateful that I got to have her in my life for so many years.

      So then a few weeks after that my sister Nichol and her 5 kids and my mom came to visit us in Vegas for Spring Break. We had so much fun! I am so glad that they were able to come. The kids enjoyed the children's museum and of course swimming at Steve's parents house. It was a little cold so mostly the hot tub, but those boys love any kind of water they are fish. When they went swimming us girls went shopping. Steven and I got to take everyone to our favortite mexican restraunt Macayos which they loved. We went to see the fish tank at the Bass ProSshop. They don't like shopping but trying to get 4 boys that are hunters and fishers out of that store was very difficult. We went and saw the water fountains and volcano on the strip. Korver didn't like to volcano very much with the fire. He said it was scary, but loved the water fountains. We all had a good time and made great memories!

Then we went to California! Steve's mom invited us to go for the weekend and stay in there condo they have right off the beach. It is just what we needed. Nothing like relaxing and reading a book on the beach, swimming, and enjoying some sun. It was a very fast trip, but worth it!

 Ethan Thomas Pike was born May 23rd. This is my sister Crystal's 2nd boy they live in Virgina. We get to see them in August! They are coming to Utah to bless him!

This is what has been going on with us! Hopefully next post won't take 4 months.

It has been an emotional couple of days. I was going on my 14th week. Yesterday early morning I was having alot of pain with the stomach flu and was dehydrated so we went to the hospital and found out our baby only survived 9 weeks. Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and prayers.
