We have been busy and haven't been able to update our blog. We are EXCITED to announce that we will be adding a new addition to our family in August.

The last Month!

For our 5 year Anniversary we were able to go spend it up in Mt. Charleston! As you can see it is up in the mountains about 45 minutes from the city. We have been camping there before, but never stayed in the hotel there. It is beautiful up there and it was nice to get away from the heat. Even though it was a month late that we celebrated our Anniversary we still had a good time. There is a restaurant up there where we ate dinner and breakfast that was included in the package deal with hotel.

We got new furniture! Our other couch was a hand me down. We got a really good package deal that we are happy with! My parents were here Labor Day weekend so they got to help us shop and pick it out!

This is what it looked like before minus the Christmas Tree. Our living room is open all the way to the dining room and so the new furniture separates it. it also feels up all that room we have better. We are super excited!

New member of the Family!

As some of you know we lost our little dog Roxie this summer. We are so sad. It was so weird not having her around. We had a good opportunity to get little Maximus we call him Max! A lady at my work found him and couldn't find a home for him and she had 6 of her own dogs (talk about chaos). So we went to meet Max and fell in love with him. He has the cutest personality and has been so much fun!

He is so funny he sits like a person!

He is so cuddly and loves to be held like a baby! I have never seen a dog lay on his back more than he does. His new thing is running up and down the stairs as fast as he can, he is like a little deer. We enjoy having him in our home.

NEWPORT BEACH!!
Beware lots of pictures, but that's what happens when you spend a week at the beach!

This is our tradition every time we go to Newport we have to get a sunset picture!

OOPS!! Steven and Chris buried there niece Kara and nephews Scott and Brock! If you can believe it they volunteered.

Cortney and Rob with there ball track. It turned out awesome, it only took them a few hours. They are really dedicated and patient. We are so excited for them to get married this month! YEAH!!!

No big sea shells this year, but Steven found a star fish when swimming. We put it back in the ocean because it was alive, but way cool to see and touch.

Newport couldn't have been better this year. We had beautiful weather much better than last! Sunny and warm enough to get in the water. We got to see a lot of dolphins up close, but still too far to get a picture. everyone was there this year, which was awesome! It was so much fun! There is nothing like it!

Bear Lake!!

We went to Bear Lake for Fourth of July week. The first day we were there we got to go on a four-wheeler ride. This is the view we rode up to! It was a rough ride because all of the rain and snow ruined the road, but we made it and it was worth it!

Carter was my cargo on the four-wheeler. He was so much fun to have on the ride!

Of course you can't go to Bear lake without hanging out on the beach! The water was a lot higher than it has been, which was nice to see it more full.

Steven was the highlight of the trip with the wake-boarding jumps! He did Awesome!

My Aunt and Uncle have wave-runners and a boat that we enjoyed so much! We loved it! Although the water was a little colder than Lake Mead, but much prettier view with the mountains around.

Me and my Grandma Miller who turned 85 this year! She has endured a lot this year. I love her and unfortunately I have come to realize that she is going to be around forever and I had to take the opportunity to take a picture of us.

We are having such a fun summer! We enjoyed Bear lake so much, seeing fireworks on the beach was great nothing like it! It was nice to enjoy some cooler weather and beautiful Utah, which was really green from all the rain. We are grateful we got to be with the family missing my sister Crystal and Jared and Spencer that live in Virgina! Hope everyone is having a great and safe summer!

California and Utah trip!

The month of May was a crazy 2 weeks! Memorial Day weekend we went to Newport Coast with Steven's family then came home on Memorial Day worked until Friday drove up to Utah for the weekend for Boston's baby blessing and came home. Oh! and we had car trouble on the way to Utah had to replace a tire luckily we happened to get off on an exit to get food in Mesquite. Got the tire replaced $225 later" they saw us coming." We feel very blessed it could have been much worse. We made it safely at 2:00 in the morning and had a few days there and drove home on Monday.

We were at Newport coast. The beach is a National Wildlife Preserve and the swimming isn't the greatest plus the water is still pretty cold. We still enjoyed walking along the beach and the beautiful ocean. We just didn't get in it.

The majority of the time on this trip we spent at the pool! Came home with a wonderful tan line.

Next weekend trip was Utah! We had a fun day with the nephews. This is a pond by my sisters house, nice huh! The boys love fishing and we watched them catch nothing, but we had a great time and it actually was a really nice day to be out with the boys.

We had a good time with both of our families! Time just goes by way too fast! We look forward to the summer vacations coming up. We will be going to Utah over the fourth of July and get to go to Bear Lake and the annual trip to Newport Beach!

I don't know where time is going I do know it is going by really fast! I can't believe I haven't posted since March and a lot has gone on since then. I guess I have just been really busy. With the usual work, being a wife, and the most time consuming is trying to keep up on a the house which is not easy. I try to be organized with the time I have, but we are still going through boxes and trying to put each room together one by one. It is finally coming along and truly feels like our home. I will have updated pictures next post.

We had a great Easter this year we were able to spend time with both families. A few weeks before Easter Steve's sister Nicole and her family and also Cortney came down from Utah that weekend. We had a great time with all of them! We are really excited for Nicole and her family to move back to Vegas this month, so we will be able to see them more often.

Like I mentioned we got to see both families. My office was closed for spring break which happened to be the weekend of Easter! So we got to go to Utah for a few days! We got to see Boston James Taylor for the first time. He is my 6th nephew. My brother Nathan and his wife Kourney's first one, he was born on March 19th. He is so cute!

While we were there we went with my sister Nichol and her four boys and my mom to baby animal days in Logan! It was really fun you get to hold and pet the baby farm animals.

Taylor holding a bunny they begged my mom to buy one because he is so cute. She didn't give in maybe next year. I love the gray and white floppy ear ones and how they just cuddle in your arms, so cute! Too bad they are really messy and can get stinky.

Carter holding a baby duck! It reminded me when growing up we had baby ducks they are so cute, but we had to get rid of them because the moms were really mean when we tried to pick them up.

Korver didn't really like the baby goats, well he said he didn't like the black one he wanted to pet the brown one. I think this one really just wanted his sucker he wasn't so sure about that.

This was the train you rode around the park! They all got to ride in the back of the train and had so much fun!

This was the funniest thing ever! The baby cows kept trying to get Steven's string on his hoodie and they started to nibble on his jeans and were chasing him. He must of smelled good or maybe they were hungry when we were here or just wanted to eat my husband. Lucky they weren't big cows.
The baby animal zoo was so fun! The boys also got to go on pony rides and we learned how to color eggs without the actual dye that you buy in the stores it was really interesting. You can dye them with grape juice or certain herbs or beets and you don't boil them first because they boil in the dye. It was a really fun day. We did go to my moms house and dye eggs with the kids and then my camera battery died shucks! This is the only picture I got of Carter and Skyler.

It was a great Easter this year! We had a great time with all of our families!

It has been a month since I posted last because it has been a busy crazy month! This is going to be a big post! Hope you enjoy it!

Well we both are One day older and wiser too!
Steven's Birthday was February 16th he is 28 now!

I got him an Ipod Touch! He was really surprised as you can see. He was spoiled this year, but I really wanted him him to have one. He enjoys it and not just for the music, but a lot of other things too.

I turned the big 25 this year! Wow that is weird to write for the first time!

Kimberly made me this Birthday cake! Like I said before it is her new passion and she is so good at it, well you saw last post of Steven's basketball cake! I love it and it was really yummy too!

This is my other cake that I had on my actually Birthday! My mom made me one of my favorites Red Velvet! Yes! My parents got to be here for my Birthday! It was really nice that my dad had a conference in Las Vegas the same week so they were here for a week. On my Birthday I got to have the morning off of work, so I got to go shopping with my mom. I haven't got to do that for so long. My mom felt bad that I didn't get to open any presents from them, but I thought it was even better going shopping with my mom and picking out new things! Thanks Mom and Dad!

Like I mentioned last post, Steven's parents got us tickets to go to Lion King for our Birthdays! Since my parents were in town they got tickets also and got to come with us! We had so much fun! Lion King was so Awesome!

Steven's sister Michelle had a beautiful baby girl on February 22nd. This is the outfit that we gave her she looks pretty in pink!

I do not miss this kind of weather. Of course when I visit Utah it always snows.

I got to go to Utah Presidents Day weekend. It was a fast trip, but fun! We had a Baby Shower for my brothers wife Kourtney. It was also the weekend that I had to say goodbye to my sister and her family, they moved to Virgina. It was so hard to say goodbye. We wish them well on their new home in WoodBridge Virgina.

I got to go Bowling with my nephews! Too bad all of them beat me. We still had a blast!

Just an update since I haven't blogged for forever! We have been really busy! We are still trying to get the house all together. There were these ugly old broken blinds covering the door to go into the backyard. I have wanted to put drapes up instead, but it took me a long time to find some that looked good. I didn't realize it was going to be so hard. I finally found some! Here they are! We think they look nice and add to the dining room!

Everything is going good for us! We love are new neighborhood. We have had dinner with some of the couples in are ward, which has been fun to hang out with other couples. We have callings in our new ward. I am teaching Primay age 5 and I love it! Steven is the basketball coach for the youth and is enjoying every minute of it! He just got another one this last week as the assistant executive secretary. I think that will keep him busy. His Sundays will start at 6:00 A.M for meetings, but I know he will do great. I am excited to go to Utah this weekend. Although it will be hard to have to say goodbye to my sister Crystal. She is moving to Virgina on Sunday and I am going to miss her and Spencer like crazy I already don't see them very much. Her Husband Jared got a great job oppurtunity there, so it is for good reason. It just sucks! She is going to be 15 minutes from Washington D.C and 2 hrs from New York. Maybe it will actually get me to those places.
We had a good Valentines Day this year. Since it was on a Monday and we get out of work late (well me) we decided to go out to dinner to Claim Jumper on Saturday! It was really nice. We don't care what we do we just enjoy getting out and spending time together.
Steve sent me these beautiful red roses and some yummy chocolates at work this year! Although they didn't come like this. They came in a box that I had to open and then put them together. So I opened the box and I had to unwrap them carefully. They came with a vase and I had to put water into. It even had certain instructions like cut the stems and put the food into the vase. It was a fun! They are the pro- flower ones and I here they last a long time. Will see!

Steven's Birthday isn't until tomorrow, but we celebrated it with his family on Sunday!
He needed his sister Kim's help on blowing out all the candles because there were too many.

His sister Kim made him this Basketball cake! It turned out so Awesome! Kim is so talented this is just few of her many great creations.

His mom knows him well. Wii Game! She also got us tickets to go to Lion King together for both of our Birthdays! ( since they are 2 weeks apart) I am so excited! My parents are going to be in town, so they are coming too! Can't wait! Happy Birthday Babe! I can't believe he is going to be 28!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

This is a really late and long post, but here is a update on us. We hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Years!

We were able to get a Christmas Tree up. It was fun to put it up the first time in our new home. Roxie always likes to be in the spot light! I could not get her to move so I could take a picture. Thanks to my wonderful hubby we did get some lights on the windows outside I just never got around to taking a picture.

Christmas was great! We first started the Holiday the night before Christmas Eve. We had dinner with Steve's family. It was good to see the family before we headed up to Utah. Christmas Eve early early we woke up and started our drive to Utah. Me, Steven, and Roxie our little doggie. She is a great little dog, she was so good in the car.
Just a story of my cute husband a few hours into the trip Steven told me to get something for him out of the laptop bag. I wondered as I pulled out a silver thing with a bow around it. I didn't know what it was even though I figured it was a gift for me. He is so cute I get really bored in the car so it was for our laptop so I can watch movies in the car. I was so excited! ( when I found out what it was) I am glad he listens to me say all the time that it would really cool to be able to watch movies when we travel. He also remember to bring some Christmas movies to watch on the way. So I watched Christmas Shoes and cried the whole time of course.
So we made the long drive and actually from our new house it only took 6 1/2 hours YEAH!! We went to the Taylor traditional Christmas Eve Party! We have dinner and have the kids act out the Nativity and Santa comes! I was glad I was able to make it this year and see all my nephews sit on Santa's lap and it was Spencer's first year!

Christmas morning we went to my sister's house to see her boys open their presents. I was surprised to see that when we got there at 8:00 they haven't even started. So it was fun to see there first reaction when they went downstairs. Taylor, Carter, Skyler, and Korver in their snazzy pj's they got the night before.

Korver a few hours after opening and then playing with his presents. He didn't even make all the way on the couch he was so exhausted.

After my sister's house we went back to my parents house to have our Christmas. Steve and I didn' t do very much we bought a WII FIT after Thanksgiving plus I told him that we got our house and that was enough. Well last minute we decided to do gifts since we already got a few things for each other. I felt bad his wasn't very exciting, but he needed tools for the house.

I was spoiled this year! Steve got me more than I got him, but the Wii fit idea was kind of what he wanted. He remember I loved this tricycle I saw a few months ago before we even got our house and I wanted to buy it for our house, but I didn't so he went and got it for me for Christmas! We are also going to go Ice Skating together! The last time we went was when we were dating like 5 years ago and I have always commented on us going and we tried to go one Valentines and dinner took too long so we didn't make it. So I am so excited I can't wait to go. Of course a movie to watch on the way home. He is so good to me. He made it a great Christmas, and of course taking a trip to Utah to see my family Best Present of All!!

We all got together as a family on Sunday. We had a wonderful dinner and enjoyed being all together. All the pics of the kids presents and our presents.

We had a sleep over with them that night and watched the DVD we gave them, How to train your dragon it's sure cute!

Spencer liked opening presents! I hope he loves this elephant as much as I loved it when I first saw it in the store.

We did get snow! It was a little late since it was the day after Christmas, but it was still fun to see snow again!
I didn't think Roxie would like the snow because she hates being cold. I guess I was wrong she played in it for hours.

We had a fun trip! We came home worked for 2 days then celebrated New Years and we got to have Christmas and open presents from Steve's family. We went to a party with them that the ward put together. It was a lot fun! Good to see people from the ward again. Then we watched Knight and Day and was able to see the fireworks that they do on top of the hotels on the strip from steve's parents house. They are always cool to see, but it was freezing this year, it was colder than New York this year. Now that is CRAZY!

We had such a good Christmas and New Years! We hope that 2011 is a great year!

Early Christmas Present!

A little late, but the latest update. We moved into our house the weekend before Thanksgiving. It actually went well. We had a lot of help from Steven's family! We also had help from my parents. They came down the day we move. Which you would think it would be enough, but they also brought some stuff for our house. They brought my bed I had growing up and their old entertainment center. It was a joy to have my parents stay with us for the week in our home. It was a busy week with everything going on, but we had a lot of fun. Not to mention all the help my parents were. With going shopping for new appliances because the house needed a new dishwasher and stove. and my mom cleaning and putting stuff away while I was at work. Also my dad helping Steven put the dishwasher and stove in. I love my parents! They helped us so much and I was glad they got to see our home and be with us for Thanksgiving!
We had a great Thanksgiving! I really appreciated Steven's family for letting my parents join with all of the family !It was really nice to have them with us, it was the first time they came down to Las Vegas for Thanksgiving!
We had a good time going bowling on Thanksgiving, which is a family tradition. I am not good at bowling like Steven, but I still had fun!
We were crazy this year and did the midnight thing at Walmart. We waited in line for over 2 hours. So then getting home at 2:30 in the morning, getting about an hour in half of sleep. Then waking up to go to best buy at 5:00 and then Target at 6:00. We are crazy ,but it was an adventure. I love the tradition and it was fun doing it again with my parents. I remember going with my mom and dad to the black friday sales when I was younger. Good times!
I was glad my parents came I hope it wasn't too crazy! We had such a good time. They relieved a lot of our stresses to get some things done. We are truly grateful for all the help we received from our families.
I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving! I know we did and we have a lot to be grateful for. We have the gospel and a temple marriage. We were able to buy a beautiful home. We have good health and great families. We are so blessed!!

THE LATEST!

Our house closed the last week of October YEAH! We have been painting and cleaning to get ready to move. We are planning on moving this weekend! HOORAY!!

My work was closed for a few days for Nevada Day, which is on Halloween. So I went home!! It was so great to see my family and supper fun! It was kind of crazy with leaving right after the house closed, but I had it already planned. Steven was so great while I was in Utah, he went over to the house several times and started cleaning. That is why I love him! He is such a hard worker. I felt so guilty leaving and he kept on encouraging me to go. I was really glad that I went. I love that my husband is so supportive! Here are some pictures of Halloween Day!

We had so much fun making sugar cookies. We also made caramel apples and deviled eggs that were scary eyes!

Korver was so cute getting into Halloween. He would sneak up on you and scare you. I tried to snap a picture of him crawling on the floor trying to scare everyone. It doesn't do justice.

FINALLY!!

Some of you know that Steven and I have been looking at houses. We put an offer on a beautiful home in April. Well we waited and waited and waited some more. In August we finally heard that the offer went through, the house was ours. At least that's what we thought. So, then it was a process of getting an inspection and everything was good. Then it was time for the appraisal, which was lower than the offer we made on the house, because it has been 4 months since we put the offer on the house. Well we decided to still go for it! We put a counter offer on the house for what it was appraised for. So we waited and waited some more. This week we were excited to find out that they accepted our offer. Hooray! I can't believe we are going to own our very own home!! We feel so blessed that we are able to buy a house at this time. It's crazy, but amazing. We don't want to sound negative about waiting for the house because a lot of good things happened. We ended up getting our house for 7,000 dollars cheaper than it was and we are getting a better interest rate. We are really excited!! Here are a few pictures!

MOAB TRIP!!!

Last weekend we went to Moab Utah for a family vacation with the Taylor's. We had so much fun. We did a lot of four-wheeling which was a blast !We even went on a new trail. Of course you can't go to Moab without visiting the Arches National Park! Which were we went and did some hiking to amazing arches. This was Steven's first trip with my family to Moab. We had a great time, with the little time we had. Time flies when you are having fun! Well we took many many pictures. Here are the highlights. Some of the pictures don't do justice you just have to go and experience it yourself.

Taylor and Korver on the new little four-wheeler that my dad got for the grandkids. Taylor and Carter love to drive it. It's not that small for us girls so we can drive it too. I tried, but it was way too bumpy. My sister Nichol was a pro at it.

Us under the double O arch. It looks like a eight it's really cool how the rocks can form like that all by themselves. This is our favorite hike. There is a little bit of everything, you even walk across slick rock. We felt very adventurous.

This was our new four-wheeling trail. We had to go under this rock kind of scary it could fall at any moment. Even my brother-in-laws truck went under. It was so cool!

How Beautiful! This actually was the the start of the trail and we rode the four-wheelers down to see the view looking up. I have to admit it was a little steep going down, but a lot of fun. Especially worth it by getting to go under that rock!

New and Exciting!

Steven and I have been married for 4 years! That sounds so crazy to me! Our Anniversary was on a week day, so we went out to dinner that night. Which was really nice. We also wanted to do something else new and exciting, so over the weekend we went to Spring Mountain Ranch. Yes I know you are thinking what! It is an outside venue up in the mountains, yes in Las Vegas. During the summer they put on different plays each month. We had a great time, took a blanket had a picnic and watch a play while gazing up at the stars in the dark night. It was so nice up there secluded from the busy city and nice a cool. I actually had to put on a jacket later on. I was so glad that Steven took me there. He went all the time when he was little and told me he wanted to take me and I thought it was perfect for our Anniversary.

Our newest member of our family!

We didn't plan on getting a dog anytime soon. We came home from Newport and there was a strange dog around. She was really scared and looked like she hadn't been taken care of in a while. We didn't think anything of it, but we felt sorry for her. We started to feed her and she would be there every night when we came home. We took her to the vet to see if she had a chip in her to find her home and she didn't have one. So we made signs that we found a dog and put them up in our area. Well, it has been a few weeks and no calls. We are thinking that we should keep her, not to mentioned we are attatched! She is a good dog, very obedient and so much fun. She is so loving, I hate to think what she has been through. I think she enjoys us we feed her and play with her and love her. It nice to say she found us! We named her Roxie!

She is so playful and cute! She stands on her hind legs and gives you high five and dances around. I guess I am not fun enough because Steven can't get enough play time with her.

BEACH FUN!

Last week we went to Newport Beach! Our annual trip with all the Bryants. We go for the whole week, a house right on the beach. It was so much fun! Hanging out on the beach, playing a lot of games. Playing volleyball and paddle-ball, going on bike rides and just having a blast! The water was freezing this year, actually it was cold out of the water too. It just shows that we can have fun with the family no matter where we are or what the weather is like. One of our favorite parts of the beach is the sunsets!

BEAUTIFUL!!

Our beach house! We had the same one as last years. It's our favorite, close to the beach!

I was so excited when Steve came out of the water with this huge sea shell! The biggest one yet to add to the collection. What a great treasure hunter!

The Rock Pier! Always a fun adventure! Going across the rocks climbing and balancing, always worth it! We saw a lot of crabs and some star fish this year.

Beach Bum! Kara loves the beach especially the sand. There were times that she was covered from head to toe I'm sure she ate lots of sand that week. YUM!

All I can say is adorable adorable Molly! She already loves her uncle Steve. I have to say she is the best baby she is so chill, you can put her on the floor and she will entertain herself, rolling around and as happy as can be! We love her!

We rode our bikes to Huntington Beach one night to the see the street fair. It was fun! A little chilly and windy, but still a good time.

Steven had an opportunity to go to a baseball game, his uncle had free tickets to the Angels and Red Socks game. He had a great time! This is a picture from their seats, not bad!

JULY 4th!!

This is late, but I really wanted to post our holiday weekend. We went to Utah! It was a fast trip, but we had fun as always. There was a lot of things going on while we were there. So here is what we did!
Saturday was Carter's baptism, I can't believe he is eight years old. It is so amazing that he already has a strong testimony. It was really neat that we got to hear his testimony on Sunday.

It was there Birthdays in June, they are exactly 2 years and 9 days apart. They sure are buddies!

Crystal and Jared had Spencer blessed. He is already getting so big. I am glad we got to be there to celebrate. It was good to see all the family!

Utah Trip

MEMORIAL WEEKEND!!

Steven and I both had Monday off of work for Memorial Day, so we went to Utah! We had a lot of fun and it was really good to see everyone, especially the newest member of the family Spencer Jared Pike. Here is a picture of us with him, he is waving hello! He already has the cutest personality and is such a good baby. I couldn't believe how much dark hair he has. We just love him already he is a cutie!
While we were there we moved Crystal, Jared, and Spencer from Logan to Ogden we are so excited that they are closer now.
Then we took my Mom shopping for Mother's Day. Just us girls went to get her some decorations for the new remodeled house. We had so much fun! We were able to find her some nice things for the house.

Then we made a short trip to Bear Lake to our condo. We had a blast! It actually was a nice day! This is Steven and Carter enjoying the game of trac ball together.

Korver enjoyed the nice weather also. He couldn't get enough of his tractor he sure loves that thing!

We were able to go swimming because the pool was heated. Something new at the pools was a slide and everyone loved it. This is Taylor going down it!

Korver loved the water too he had a squirt bottle that he had so much fun getting everyone wet.(mostly in the face) He was so cute when he aimed at you. Steven snapped this picture of me and Korver and Skyler on his noodle.

We had fun! We were sad to have to go home especially to 100 degree weather. We are so grateful that we had the opportunity to visit Utah and have such a great trip! We are glad we got to be with all of the family. Can't wait for the next trip!

These last few weeks have been crazy. We have been really busy so here is an update. Last weekend Steven's brother and sister came down from Utah after their finals were over (lucky them: Steve is busy taking his this week) and we made our first lake trip of the year. It was a little cold but any time you can make it out to the lake is great. Here are a few pictures:

Also, this last Friday we were able to watch the local minor league baseball team, the Las Vegas 51's. (Reference to the myth of Area 51) The mascot is actually an alien named Cosmo. It was a beautiful night for baseball, but it got a little chilly with the wind. We also got to enjoy an amazing firework show after the game. The best part was the tickets were free!

Utah Trip!!

We went to Utah to visit this last week. It was so wonderful to see everyone again. I took this picture with all the nephews, they are all growing up too fast. Taylor will be ten I can't believe it. He is such a great kid always giving us hugs I know he misses us. Carter is going to be eight he is always happy and laughs a ton. Skyler what would we do withour Skyler, oh how he makes us laugh he just turned five and boy is he a character. Then there is Korver he is getting so big he will be two next month. He is so loveable and always seems to get excited over something. We love our nephews! I am glad we got to spend alot of time with them this trip! We always have fun with the boys!

We had a baby shower for my sister Crystal which was a success! She got a lot of great stuff for her baby boy. I am so excited for her, I had to take a picture she looks so cute pregnant. I can't wait until he is here only a month in half to go!

While we were there we made a trip up to Springville where Steve's sister Nicole lives. She had her baby girl blessed. We had a fun day with the Paces! The kids wanted to color Easter eggs. We love helping the kids although I think we had a lot of broken eggs, but we had a great day!

Isn't she adorable! Everyone just loves her. The kids are so excited about there new baby sister and Kara isn't the only girl yeah! We are so excited to have another niece.

We had a great trip to Utah! We are glad we got be with family!

MAKE A WISH!!

We had great Birthdays! We enjoyed this last couple of weeks celebrating both of our Birthdays!
Steven's niece and nephews were here that weekend when we celebrated with his family. That was really fun to hang out with them. Of course they are always great helpers unwrapping presents.
My parents surprised me the Wednesday night before my Birthday! I had know idea they were coming, I couldn't believe that they were here I was so SURPRISED! Steve was really good he knew the whole time and kept it a secret. We had so much fun all together. Thanks mom and dad for making my Birthday extra special this year. I love you guys so much!

We are doing good just busy with us both working and Steven going to school. We should have a new nephew or niece this week, Steve's sister Nicole's fourth one on the way. We are excited Scott, Brock, and Kara are coming this week, so we will get to see them this weekend. ( Which is always fun). Steven's Birthday is coming up on Tuesday he will be 27, oh my gosh I am married to an old man j/k. Happy Birthday babe I luv ya!

I feel bad I haven't even posted that my sister Crystal is expecting a little boy in May! We are so happy for her and Jared and they are excited to be parents! CONGRATS!

Since Valentines Day is on Sunday we celebrated it yesterday. We went out to lunch at the Cheesecake Factory and a movie, we saw Avatar in 3D! It was a great movie we both enjoyed it.
It was different then we thought it would be, but we loved it! The 3D effects are incredible!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

We had a great Christmas! It was a short trip to Utah since I am working now, but we were glad that we went and had a fun time! We can't believe it is already over it goes by too fast, but it was good to be with the family. It was a different Christmas this year we actually had three days of Christmas! It was great! Here is some highlights!

We went to my sister Nichol's house early Christmas morning to see what the kids got from Santa. this is Skyler and Korver on my lap. Skyler always tells us he wants to go home with us, but he doesn't realize how far it really is. They both are so adorable and they know it.

Korver loves to give kisses! He is getting so big he changes every time we see him and he is Steve's little buddy!

The three nephews Taylor, Carter, and Skyler on Christmas morning. It was great to be with them on Christmas. We had a blast watching them open presents!

Christmas day we exchanged gifts from each other! Steven was really excited about the toy he got, his mini helicopter. I can't believe he had so much fun ! My dad also got one and they had so much fun flying them together like little kids.

This was Caitlin's favorite gift she was so excited to get a digital picture frame. Now she can have pictures of all the family and see them every day.

This is the second day of Christmas which we had on Sunday, we opened the presents from my parents which we received a vacuum! We were excited we really needed it! Thanks mom and dad. I love this picture of Korver helping get the wrapping paper off. He was so cute when he opened a present, he had to get all the wrapping paper off before he would see what it was. I think he is going to be a perfectionist.

This is the third day of Christmas! We opened the presents that were from Steven's parents. We got a computer desk from them it is really nice! Steven got it all set up and now we have more room. Thanks mom and dad! It was such a great Christmas! We enjoyed three different days of it and it was a lot fun, it was nice that it wasn't over in one day! It was good to be able to see family and spend time with them. We are so grateful for all that we have and for all that our families do for us!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Our New Years was quiet this year, but it was nice to relax and enjoy it! Caitlin finally got to see the fireworks that they do off the roof of the hotels on the strip. We watched them from off the roof of Steven's dad's office. It is hard to tell in the picture, but they were really cool!

The Holidays

We are so happy that the Holidays are here. We had an excellent Thanksgiving weekend with the family. As part of the family tradition we went bowling in the morning. We are goofy, but always have fun! We are excited for Christmas since we were in Las Vegas for Thanksgiving we are going to Utah! Yeah Snow NOT!

Merry Merry Merry Christmas!! We did get our tree up, we think it turned out nice. Caitlin's family has a tradition to get ornaments from places we vacation, so we had some new ornaments to put on the tree this year. It is always fun putting on the ornaments and listening to Christmas music! Always gets us in the Christmas spirit!

Halloween

This is a really late post, but we wanted to show our Halloween costumes we made this year! We were Pebbles and Bam Bam from the Flinstones! We had a great Halloween!!

Steven was getting into his character he kept on saying Bam Bam Bam Bam! It was cute!

Steven had a potluck for his work so we decided to make something with a Halloween theme. So we made some scary deviled eggs! We had so much fun!

This year we decided to carve a pumkin. Steven found this witch stencil online, he did a great job! We are a good team Steven doesn't like to take out all the guts, but that is Caitlin's favorite! She hates carving and that is Steven's favorite! It worked out perfect!

Newport Beach

We had the wonderful opportunity to spend a weekend in Newport Beach. It was great to be able to relax and enjoy the beautiful California sun. The weather was perfect!!!

Here we are at the beach. This shows one of our many "talents." (Self portraits) We were alone at the beach and had to take this picture ourselves.

This was the only sunset that we were able to see, but it was a splendid one. This is a picture we took from the hotel that we were staying in. We had a wonderful view of the ocean and were able to watch the sunset.

On Sunday we went to church next to the Newport Beach temple, and took this picture outside of the temple grounds. (Again self portraits)

After church we spent a few hours at the beach before we had to leave for home. We just couldn't get enough of the beach. We love the beach!!

Bear Lake!

We went to Bear Lake with the Taylor's over Conference weekend. We had a great time visiting with family. We froze since we are not use to Utah weather, but it was still a blast! We went on a four-wheeling ride since we don't get to do that much. We saw two baby dear and a mama they were really cute. One of them ran across the road in front of us. It was a close one! We took the three nephews to the pool. It was cold, but we enjoyed the hot tub! Here are the highlights of our trip!

We went four-wheeling to Old Ephraim's Grave where the 9ft bear monument is. I have been there many times, but this was Steven's first time. It actually wasn't too cold it was nice weather. As you can see we just had to dress warm.

This was the view we had on the four-wheeling ride. It was beautiful! It looked like a painting. I love the fall when the leaves are changing.

Korver was so cute! He kept making this mischievous look on his face. He has his own little personality! We love our nephews! They are growing up too fast! It was good to see them, we miss them a lot!

Yes this is the same trip! We got into snow in the Logan Canyon when we were leaving. Crazy huh! We don't miss this!

OUR ANNIVERSARY!!

It was our Anniversary yesterday. We can't believe it has already been 3 years! Well last year we just moved here so we went out to dinner and went on top of the Eiffel tower on the strip. It was really nice and romantic. So this year we thought we would go away and stay somewhere. Since it was on Monday we decided to go to St. George for the weekend. We had a great time. We stayed in the Hilton in a really nice suite( thanks bro for getting us a really good deal.) I realized I have been to St. George many times, but I have never seen the temple besides off the freeway. The Temple is so white it is GORGEOUS!! We also went to the visitor center. It was really neat. We got to see Gods plan for his family, if you have never seen it you should, they have them at all the visitors center and it is so worth it! it was so good! We also learned a lot of the history of the temple. It was a marvelous experience!

Then we checked out the outlets! It was fun! Steven even enjoyed it. We then topped it off by going to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. We were so excited when we saw it, there's not one in Las Vegas. It was so yummy! That was our trip! It was really good to get away for the weekend.
On our actual Anniversary I decided to make Steven's favorite dinner. So we stayed home and enjoyed a home cook meal. I gave Steven some new Dvd's. He brought home some yellow daisies that are so pretty! He also gave me this beautiful Logan Temple plate. For my Birthday the first year we were dating he gave me one that was the Salt Lake Temple. Then when we moved here I got a Las Vegas one. So this year he gave me the Logan where we were married for time and all eternity!! I love it! He knows how much I love temples. In my room when we were dating I had a wall with all the temples that came out of a calender. So we will someday have all the temples in our house, that is what Steven says I don't think we can manage that one, but he is so cute!

Thanks Steven you are always so Romantic! I love you and thanks for 3 wonderful years. I can't wait for fifty+ more! You are the best!

"A Week in Paradise"

We were able to go last week with Steven's family to Newport Beach, CA. We enjoyed the week playing on the beach, bike riding along the boardwalk and best of all getting a tan. It was a blast!!!

We love just relaxing and enjoying the beautiful beach!

The water was so warm and enjoyable! We had fun jumping the waves.

It was really nice and the best part was that it was so close to the beach!

I know not kidding walking distance from the beach!!

After the beach week was over we enjoyed a day at Lake Mead! Here is everybody playing on the tubes.

It was a little windy, but Steven still had to get out and show his "skills" on the Air Chair!

We had such a great week with the Pace family. We aslo had our year mark of living in Las Vegas it is so crazy how time flies! Overall we have had a great summer, it is hard to believe it is almost over.

Yellowstone

We really would have posted this earlier, but our internet has not been working, so here it is! Over the Fourth of July week we went to Yellowstone with the Taylor family! We had a great time! Here are some pictures of our favorite memories we had.

On the fourth of July we went to Jenny Lake! You go in a boat across the lake and go on a hike to see a waterfall and Inspiration Point. It was beautiful! Then after we went to go see the Jackson Hole fireworks! The last time we went they were canceled due to rain and lightning, but we finally got to see them this year. They were really nice fireworks!

It was a good year to see animals! We had 23 bear sightings. We even got to see a mama bear and two cubs they were so cute! This was the first grizzly we saw it was climbing on tree logs it was cool to watch!

We love to go see the wolves even though they are far away, but we watch them through a telescope. So we were watching some wolves and they were eating a carcass. While they were eating, a bear came and joined them. Then 5 minutes later another bear came, we thought they were all going to fight, but the wolves chased them away. It was still awesome! ( A little to far to snap a picture.)
This is one of the bull moose we saw. We usually don't see them this close, but we got lucky!

This black bear ran across the road. Steve went running to get a picture this is how close he was. Caitlin was getting a little nervous for her husband. In his defense everyone was doing it and they were much closer.

We had a blast! It was great that my whole family was able to be there! We loved Yellowstone, we are already planning another time to go there again. It was so much fun!!

"Fun in the Sun"

We went to Lake Mead with the Paces on Saturday. It was a hot day but it felt great to get in the water. It was busy so the water was a little choppy for wake boarding and water skiing so we spent most of the day tubing, but it was still a blast! Steven, Chris, and David enjoyed having battles on the tubes but were feeling it the next day with sore muscles. We had a wonderful time and really enjoy having a lake close that we can cool off when it is over 100 degrees.

Here is an action shot of one of the tube battles. The boys would jump from their tube and try to conquer the other person's tube. (Like King of the Mountain) It was fun! Steve enjoyed competing with his "crazy" brothers.

Bear Lake

On Memorial Day Week, ( Yes, it's late again, but we're getting better, it has not quite been a month) we went up to Bear Lake with Caitlin's family. It was fun! It rained on Memorial Day, but after that it was nice weather. It was still a little chilly for the lake, but perfect weather for the swimming pool. It was so good to see everyone and nice to have all the family together. We had a blast!

We had a cool sighting in the tree by our condo. There were three baby owls. Skyler couldn't stop looking at them. He even gave them names. They were adorable!!

"Happiest Place on Earth"

We are new at blogging and we hope to get better, so here is a late post. Only a month ago we went to California with Steve's family. We went to the beach, Disneyland, and California Adventure. It was a blast! It is great that we don't live that far to visit these wonderful places.

We had an opportunity to go to the Newport Beach Temple! It is beautiful.

And of course we couldn't go to California without going to the beach! It was a little chilly, but we still had fun! We enjoyed playing bocci ball. We didn't swim at the beach, but we had a nice resort for swimming.

David, Christopher, and Steven all got soaked on Splash Mountain! Wonder where they were sitting?

It's the new Toy Story 4D! we went on it 4 times. We were trying to get better and beat our scores. David was the master he got the highest score everytime!

Today is a special day!

As many of you know I have four nephews! I know my sister has four boys. She is amazing! Well, the baby Korver endured a lot last year. He was born early and the doctors were concerned that he wasn't growing so they did some test and found out that he had a hole in his heart. So when he was four months old he had open heart surgery. So today he is one! We feel so lucky and so blessed that we get to celebrate Korver's Birthday and that he is here with us today. Korver is so loving he loves to give hugs and wet kisses. I think his favorite thing is to smile especially when his brother Taylor (the oldest) plays with him and makes him laugh. He has been through so much, but is so strong and such a fighter. We love him dearly. I wanted to post this because we can't be there for his birthday, but we are still celebrating and are so excited that he is one! We hear he is walking and doing so good. I am so excited, we bought him a really cute outfit that we are going to give him, when we come down for memorial day! I want to thank everyone for all their thoughts and prayers while our family was enduring this. It was so hard to see this little one go through this, but it was amazing how our family came together. We again feel so blessed that our many prayers were answered.

Phantom of the Opera

So, for our birthdays, Steve's parents bought us tickets to see the Phantom of the Opera show here in Vegas! Caitlin was excited because now she can say she has seen a show on the Las Vegas strip! It was an awesome night. The special effects that they have are almost out of this world! The chandelier is amazing as they raise it up and then it falls at the end. The acting and singing is even better than what they have in the movie. We were both very impressed and appreciate the present from Steve's parents.

Family Visit

This last week Caitlin's Mom and sister Nichol and her four boys came to visit. We had a great week of activities and fun! The boys had a lot of fun. They all were sad to leave and Carter said "Las Vegas is the best place in the world!"

This is the only night we could get Skyler to sleep without pulling out his teeth. He was so exhausted that he actually "ASKED" if he could go to bed, and was out like a light.
